Awesome house with perfect host.

Nothing

Everything about the place, the welcoming hosts, the breakfasts, the old world elegance. Prim, the family dog. The horses, the pig and the chickens! What a wonderful place!

Can't think of a thing.

Beautiful house, felt very relaxed.

No bedside table on one side of the bed so had to improvise.

Excellent quit location, with a room size I never had before in a B&B. Very friendly owners that showed us the life stock animals. Invited us to a music evening.

Declan is such a wonderful host, we were welcomed with afternoon tea by the open fire and fresh baked cake. Our room was stunning and lovely large comfortable bed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was delicious with fresh home made breads and conserves and everything cooked beautifully. This is 5 star service at an affordable price and in a lovely historic setting. On leaving we were kindly given fresh baked hot cross buns for our onward trip. We ate out in Moate and there was no problem getting a taxi there and back. Would definitely recommend a stay here...so peaceful.
