Shower was a little to hot.

It was clean and the location was lovely, traditional bar

Double Bed was small and there was no one around in the morning so we didn’t get breakfast

Very old, historic buildings with soul and atmosphere. Great location in the middle of the town surrounded by bakery, restaurant, two shops, petrol station and chipper. Clean room and bathroom. Pets friendly. There’s nice internal gardens that you could walk the dog or even let them run around. Great location close to all touristic attractions, hiking and walking trails.

Lack of parking. You have to find the spot on the street.

Enjoyed our stay there and found Niall on reception so helpful. Nothing was too big of an issue.

The deluxe room was spacious, loved the huge bed and lots of pillows. The furniture complemented the look of the hotel and the authentic fireplace, doors and windows had old world charm. The breakfast was good, plenty of tea and coffee. The ensuite was big. Great location in centre of Aughrim, easy checkin and checkout

The door of bedroom did not always stay shut, we had to lock it. The noise through the room sash windows and through the walls from the bar downstairs where a function was on sounded like people talking in our room, we had interrupted sleep as room was also across from the late night takeaway. The layout of the furniture in the bedroom was poor, the dressing table was too big for where it was placed and the wardrobe should have been located on wall behind the door and not as you walk in the door. I could only find 1 socket that had an extension lead plugged in for charging phones and hairdryer

Breakfast was lovely full Irish and the hospitality was friendly and welcoming
