Beautiful old hotel, lots of atmosphere and gorgeous antique furniture

A minor issue really, but there is no parking at the hotel and the evening I was there it was quite busy. It all worked out well in the end.

"Beautiful room in a great rural town. Fantastic chipper/takeawy outside the door. Beer garden cool."

Great location beautiful room.

No bottled water for tea. Used the tap to boil the water the tea was rank I have to say. It wouldn’t make me not stay here, I’d just bring my own water and tea bags

"A dissapointment"

The internet did not reach the room. I had to sit in the hallway or at the bar, where only a few locals were present. Despite the claim that they have a restaurant, this was not the case. The next day, I was supposed to get breakfast from 8:30 AM, but there was no one around. There are no restaurants in the village, only a fish & chips shop and a Chinese takeaway (which was actually good). I was told I could get an invoice the next day from the owner—but then he actually needs to be there.

Friendly place with helpful stag and a nice location.

There was no hot water for showers in the afternoon before we went out for a meal.
