This is a lovely, relaxed place from which to explore Varkala. The team are so friendly, breakfast is really good and the pool is perfect. The rooms are very spacious with an attached outside ensuite bathroom. The shower and hot water level was excellent. We loved the outside seating area. It was perfect for a game of cards or just reading a book.

Villa Akasa is a true hidden gem in Varkala, it is peaceful, beautifully designed, and full of charm. The rooms are spacious and spotless, with lots of privacy and the open-air shower is an unforgettable highlight that makes every day feel special. The recently added pool and dining area are stunning and elevate the whole experience, offering the perfect spot to relax or enjoy one of their delicious homemade meals. Sidharth the host, his family as well as the staff are exceptionally warm and attentive, making you feel genuinely cared for from the moment you arrive. I have spent quite a while researching accomodations in Varkala and this is by far the nicest, even compared to the high-end hotels that can be found in the area. Overall, Villa Akasa is the perfect blend of style, comfort, tranquility, and authentic hospitality, a place you’ll never want to leave.

Beautiful place to stay in Varkala. It’s outside the main hustle of the cliffs (ideal for us), but still easily walkable when the heat has died down. It is directly opposite one of the best cafes in Varkala, so you don’t have to even go far for decent food and coffee. Hosts were lovely, breakfast large portions, and the pool glorious!

Not an issue for us, but the bathroom for our room was outside (still connected, just open air). It was very pretty but do expect critters, so consider whether that’s something you’re ok with before booking.
