I really enjoyed my stay at Canalview. The room was very clean with a beautiful porch, right on the canal. Sahji, the caretaker, was very professional and responsive to my needs. The owner went out of his way to take the time to fill out a form I needed to extend my visa; this was very appreciated! As a solo traveler, I also felt the place was very safe and secure with a locked gate. I hope I get the opportunity to stay there again. Thank you very much!

The atmosphere of the property was great and the staff was vey helpful As I was new to the Kerala they guided me how to reach the location with bus numbers and while left the property even they arranged the vechile

the room is clean. nice terrace. good breakfast. bicycle is available. kind host ready to help. quiet and peaceful place. pretty territory

- for such money, there is not even a symbolic soap/shampoo in the bath. - some problems with water in the shower, practically no hot water and the pressure is very weak. - expensive for one night, compared to the lack of season, district or other hotels in India... there wasn't even a sheet to cover the body. for a couple of nights ok - auto in this area costs 25/30 rupees per km, and for a distance of 10 km they wanted to take 500 rupees (instead of 300) need to be aware .. - on the other side of the river sometimes can be noise from workers.. but still everything was good and staying was comfortable
