Lake front. Hospitable.

Way to the property too congested road. But staff take care of entry and exit from location. No restaurants or shops nearby.

The location

This was not a home stay as no body lived there. So there was no interesting interaction in the evening there was no welcome and it took 20 mins before anyone arrived. We were not showed how the hot water worked. when we entered the room there were still bottles of half empty water from previous guest and the litter bin was still full. it looks like wonderful Kerala food can be had for the evening meal but when asked about this at 2 pm in the afternoon it was to late . what was offered was a rather poor take away from a nearby restaurant. We had to pay for a bottle of water and our tea on arrival. There was only one towel. The owner never showed up just the employee with very limited English. He left at 7 pm. The bathroom was not cleaned, and the bed had small insects in it. After visiting India over 20 times and stayed in many different types of places this was very very disappointing from our expectations.

"great for the right person and purpose. if you are looking looking go for a luxury camping experience this is the place."

location is good for those wanting to get away from the busy vibe of the city. however car is a must! very remote. owner tried to compensate for no cafe on premises but it was cumbersome.

no cafe on site. no English speaking help available. no food near by. Rick hard mattress. owner is off site so getting help when needed is not convenient . car dependent location.
