Both the hosts (mother Elena and daughter Emma) were amazing. Very proactive in helping out. The (homemade) breakfast was really good and the location so perfect. We would 100% return here if we visit Turin again.

Ellena is a charming person. We liked her smile and warm hospitality.

The location is good, in a pedestrian mall - but noisy

This accommodation was certainly not as described on Booking.com, nor according to its accompanying photos. The information supplied for the room I booked claimed there was "airconditioning, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a toaster ... and a desk ". None of this was present. The website photos of the room I booked showed an attractive chaise lounge and a wooden chest of drawers. In lieu of the lounge was an dowdy old single bed with broken headboard. No chest of drawers nor any shelving on which to place clothing was present (although there was some hanging space). The place was toasty warm when we walked in one cold and rainy afternoon. I inquired about the heating system and the greeter said it was controlled automatically. That meant we had absolutely no control over the heating, or lack of it. During our four night stay we had heating for about an hour on three occasions, despite it being cold some mornings and evenings. The weather outside before 8am one morning was 13 degrees according to Google, yet we had no heating inside our room. One evening it was 11 degrees at 9pm outside - but no heating. On the first night, I asked for an extra blanket for the bed. I was told "No" on the phone by the greeter. I wore extra clothes and sox to bed, and placed additional clothing over the bed and covered it with a towel. The hot water supply was very dodgy - my husband had a cold shower one morning and I had a "bird bath" by boiling the kettle. The hot water problem was never resolved. The claim to have air-conditioning in the apartment is very questionable. There is no evidence of a cooling system. This was not a cheap apartment to rent. I feel very disappointed and cheated.

Great hosts, very helpful, very welcoming. Super location, walking distance to so many things. Very charming historical architecture. Very large rooms and nice decoration. Vintage atmosphere. Super clean. You will feel like a local staying there. They helped us with local recommendations without being pushy at all. Cannot remember better service!

We arrived after 10pm, booking.com did not show that this was after normal check-in time. But the hosts were so nice they helped us in anyway. So all in all a nice thing too. The central location means there is some noise from the street.
