HacıAşık Konağı Butik Hotel

A lovely little hotel off the beaten track! Great breakfast, beautiful location, and a great place for a few days whilst seeing Kapadokya. Far from Goreme so don't expect to be there too often.

Would have been nice to have a more English speaking team at the hotel - with more dinner options - but beggars can't be choosers. It's a great family business and none of this affects the overall experience.

Very small TV in the room and does not work well..

Very friendly staff and absolutely beautiful room. Large bathroom with great shower. Really large and comfortable bed. Breakfast was the best we've had in Turkey in 2 weeks, and there's been some good competition! Plus, 2 of the cutest spaniel puppies ever.

The place was beautiful and peaceful, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Authentic turkish breakfast every morning.

During our 6-days trip to Cappadocia we actually stayed in a number of properties and this was by far the best of all. So i highly recommend it. We stayed in April'23. 1) Rooms are warm and cosy, the beds were good; the facilities incl. bathroom and shower quality are very good; 2) Breakfast is super tasty and various; 3) the garden with blooming trees invites for an evening tea; 4) the hotel is in quiet part of Avanos, but super-close to the center at the same time (just cross the river).

I liked everything but want to mention several things for the people to know/consider: 1) breakfast starts at 9.00. It's not bad, but since you often wake up at dawn, it was not easy to wait till 9. 2) if you go by car, please park on the side of the river. Google maps lead to the yard and the doors might be closed there. If you park by the river, there is an entrance right away there. 3) from one of our rooms we were able to see the ballons in the morning, but they are pretty far away. If you want to watch - it's beautiful and worth it, if you want to take pictures - it's better to choose a stay in Goreme.
