Excellent food, lovely atmosphere and great service.

Loud noise from the bar , directly under my room until 11pm.

Friendly staff who made being a solo traveller feel very normal!...it was nice not to feel out of place!

Great selection of wines/drinks. Love the little orangey room at the front of the property it is beautiful. The hotel itself has lots of character though I think it could perhaps be upgraded here and there. The breakfast was unbelievable and we were gutted that we couldn’t stay for dinner as we already had plans that had been pre booked prior to accommodation choice but I could tell that the food all around would just be delicious. They have been on the michelin guide for quite a number of years which appears well earned from Speaking to others in the area who have eaten there and other reviews. Staff were lovely too.

It was very noisy in the evening. Maybe it was our room location over the bar/restaurant area but it did settle down about 11pm so we still managed a good night sleep.

What a gem of a place we found back again in Dec for another couple of days.Manager and staff all lovely and so pleasant.

Would like to but able to have some normal brown bread or toast at breakfast as the one or two false teeth I have cann t take on the homemade crusty bread you serve although it really looks good 👍

Dinner was excellent and service could not be faulted Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice Staff particularly the one who greeted us on a busy evening and showed us to our room could not have been more helpful including ensuring we had parking at the rear of the building which was far more convenient for our room.,

could not fault - although busy at dinner staff accommodated us earlier than booked and service was excellent

Room small but adequate. However, bathroom/shower immaculate and bed very comfortable
