The room was lovely and clean, and the service at dinner and check in was excellent

The breakfast room had a lot of flies (it was one of the very hot days) which put us off somewhat, and the artisan bread wasn’t suitable for toast - a fresh white option would have been good.

No iron in the room which would have been helpful. Very very hot so maybe opening the windows before the guests arrived may have helped

Very warm welcome, staff were very friendly and helpful. Food and service was very good. The room was very clean and comfortable.

My room was directly above the bar and after a long day travelling it was a little annoying to constantly hear the music from below through to around 10.30pm. I called the bar at around 10pm and asked if it could be turned down, they were apologetic and said it was from the conservatory area at the front. It was turned down but it was past 10.30 before the dulcet tones of a dull base went quiet.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Food was delicious - was expecting a good dinner but this was truly exceptional. Breakfast was filling and kept us going until dinnertime. Staff were brilliant - the team were very hard working yet friendly and charming with customers. Danielle, in particular, went out of her way to make our evening a massive pleasure.
