Martin and Cathy were fantastic hosts that made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Martin provided excellent recommendations in Paul and the nearby Mousehole, only a short walk down the road, and Cathy gave us great south coast walk recommendations. We stayed for two nights and it truly felt like a home away from home (with much better breakfasts at Trungle Terrace!). We travelled with our dog who loved spending time with the hosts, and was allowed to stay for a very reasonable cleaning charge. We would highly recommend Martin and Cathy’s place to anyone wishing to have a comfortable base to explore lovely Cornwall.

What a lovely home Martin & Cathy have. Our room and en suite was spacious, decorated lovely, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for where we needed to be. Martin and Cathy couldn’t do enough for us, from their thank you for booking with them email to the moment we checked out. They didn’t make us feel we had to rush and treated us to a lovely cream tea, the scones were delicious. I was particularly fascinated by the beautiful tea pot! We would definitely recommend booking a stay with Martin and Cathy, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you again for making us feel welcome in your home and looking after us. James & Jaime xx

We received an incredibly warm welcome with nice tea and scones with jam and cream. Koda🐾 was also very welcome and immediately felt at home. We were also treated to a super delicious breakfast. Thank you 🙏

We stayed at 6 Trungle Terrace for one night and wished we would have booked there for the whole week we were in Cornwall! An amazing home, hosted by an amazing couple Cathy and Martin, really attentive and the perfect hosts. We would definitely recommend this for a place to remember

Super friendly and helpful hosts lovely welcome and spacious.property, great food and cooking, easy parking, huge & comfy bed and part of a great little villagr complete witj good pub & lovely church. Great bonus was listening to the local ' fantastic male voice choir. Easy parking and Max, a gorgeous visiting labrador were added bonuses! The odd heavy October shower but nothing else

Martin was a fabulous host and, as we both had an interest in football, we had plenty to chat about. The accommodation was excellent. Spacious and comfortable room with everything you could need for an overnight. Shower was excellent and often these aren't so good in small guest house style venues. I was their for one reason and that was football at Mousehole AFC so to be a three minute walk to the ground was ideal, especially for a night game (take a torch for the walk back because it's really dark leaving the ground). Breakfast was top quality and plenty of it - cereal, thick granary toast and a full English. Enough to keep me going until the next football match later that evening up in Devon.

There isn't accommodation like this three minutes walk from every football ground. A couple of times the wi-fi seemed to drop out, but when you're this far into Cornwall it's probably to be expected. Even my own mobile phone had no coverage for the 24 hours I was around Newlyn/Mousehole, so not a complaint, just an observation.

I have stayed at lots of B n B s but without doubt this was the best. Martin and Cathy are exceptional hosts and it felt like I was staying with friends rather than hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was exceptional. A brilliant all round experience 👏
