The property itself was very nice, amazing views and comfortable to live in. All of the staff were extremely friendly and we were hosted very well. We will 100% be back in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Merdu. Great location, quiet and secluded while still close enough to get to all the sights. Hosts were very friendly and provided heaps of recommendations. Beautiful room and pool area. Thanks Evan, Hanna, Komang, and the rest of the team. We’ll visit again soon!

"Best villa experience ever"

If you are looking for something away from the noise, this place is it. A fabulously built villa with only 3 sizable rooms and one private suite, Bathroom shower and tub are outside for a nature-inspired experience. I found myself poolside alone or with just one other person. The kitchen has everything I needed to make breakfast or other meals. Snacks and some canned drinks are available to purchase at very good prices. The villa is also equipped with drinkable spring water. You can arrange for a masseuse to come to the villa, which I didnt get to do. And a ride can be easily arranged to get to town.. I would have stayed longer if I could and I can't say enough great things about this villa. Iwill stay here again when I'm back in Bali.

The pool is amazing looking out onto the jungle with all the nature sounds. The outdoor ensuite bathroom is to die for.

"Amazing Place to stay"

I travel a lot and everytime I use Booking, I will write down a review so I have quit some reviews now. To be honest, I am a harsh reviewer. I think half of my reviews score lower than 7 and if I'm in really bad place I will score it that way. But this place? wow, only the second time I ever gave a score of 10. It is heaven on earth! nothing could be better. If you are looking for a perfect spot close to nature and still close to Ubud? You have to pick this spot.

The design of the accomodation is perfect. Great chill out space both indoors and outside. Great kitchen with all that is necessary to cook should you wish. The pool is great and big enough to enjoy.and the beds are really comfy. Evan, the owner is a really nice guy who is on hand to help and can arrange whatever is needed (scooters etc). The onsite staff ensure that everything is spotless. Highly recommended
