The owner is very kind and responsive. The beds are very comfortable, and the rooftop view overlooking the Nile is wonderful. He met me at the dock and helped me with my bags. Super clean rooms!

Guesthouses of similar or better quality include breakfast with the price. There were no breakfast options here. Although the room is really nice, the lighting was very low at night, which made it difficult to see.

This guest house offers some nice and clean rooms as well a great terrace and a nice roof terrace also. The host Zolly is not only nice and helpful, he knows a lot about european cultur and people because he has been in Europe for a long tlme. All together its a great place on the beautiful island of elephantine.

The nubian paradise is in direkt neighborhood to a mosque, so everyone will listen to the speakers of the muezin at certain times (starting at 5 am) very loud.

The place is quite really clean and comfy, Zoly Is nice and really friendly, The nile view at night is amazing, The bathroom is really clean and comfortable, The beds are really really comfortable and it is very warm not too cold nor too hot.

Nothing at all was really bad, it is actually quite perfect, only thing was the bathroom smelt like sewers other than that it's really nice!

I always book my accommodations based on good reviews. This time I could have not chosen better. A nicest location close to the ferry to Elephantine Island, a very nice room with nothing less than I could have expected for a backpack trip. The room was very tidy and we had a room with a private bathroom. What I saw of the shared facilities, not bad at all either. The host was helpful with just everything you need, like an early rise ferry to mainland for an Abu Simbel excursion. Coffee and tea available self-service at any time. There is a terrace with a perfect view over the Nile and downtown Aswan.

As some other reviews stated, there is a mosque quite next door. It did not bother us but you are sure to get a wake up call at 5.15 am. If a short wake up call in the morning does not disturb your sleep, keep on sleeping until the next call for prayer.

Very spartan but good value for the price. Excellent location close to the ferry, but also right next to a mosque where the muezzin starts screaming at his loudest through his loudspeaker as from 5 am.

The most difficult thing to find in an accommodation for a local town like Aswan is someone you can truly trust. Someone who will not ask you for more money or not caring about you at all. Nubian Paradise does not have the best and the newest facilities, but you can find trusting staffs and a heart warming welcome.
