Everything, and especially the host and the staff. Both are very hospitable and kind.

Water for shower is a little bit small and no soap.

Very near good restaurants, clean and good price.

The view was wonderful , Itwas calm and peaceful stay 💙🖤 The staff was very nice and helpful 🤝

This hostel has very good vibes thanks to Abdallah and Zolli who run it together. You can get delicious dinner from them, nice conversations if you're up for it, good local advice and arrange trips to wherever you want in the area. They are from the island and seem to know everyone. Overall this is a very chill place and you will enjoy your stay here for sure.

If you're looking for absolute peace sound-wise, this might not be the best place for you and you should look for hotels and the western side of the island. The hotel is facing the city and you can hear all the traffic on the corniche. However, that doesn't take off the overarching peace of it.

Everything was great: the place, cleaness, pro active and very nice staff. Thank you Abdallah for all the conveniences You have to share bathrooms but they are super cleans. And the location is 🔝

Shower needs some power

Abdullah was amazing! He was so helpful and always available if we had any questions. Zolly and Abdullah were great hosts and made us both feel welcome. The shared bathroom and common areas were very clean. The room was gorgeous. I loved the Nubian style roof. The view from the hotel sitting area was beautiful, looking straight out onto the Nile River. The hotel is very close to the ferry. It only costs 5 Egyptian pounds during the day or 50 Egyptian pounds after midnight until 6am. The island is so quiet and safe to wander around on. The people and children that live there are very friendly and it makes for a great atmosphere:)!

The shower pressure was very low and the beds were a little hard but we managed:) The big negative for us was getting woken up at 5am every morning. The mosque next door uses loud speakers to broadcast prayers 5 times a day, sometimes lasting up to an hour, and the first one is around 5am. The speakers are on full volume right outside the window. It is so loud, someone may as well be in the room yelling into your ears. It was a very upsetting way to wake up every morning:( Earplugs won’t be much help unfortunately. It’s such a shame because the hotel was lovely otherwise and I know this is out of their control. Hopefully in the future Egypt might have noise restrictions for certain times of day. Apart from emergency warnings, I think the use of loud speakers for anything at 5am is absolutely not okay.

The location is great, right next to the ferry and the view is awesome! Everything is super clean and the hosts are professional and friendly. Highly recommended!
