Salmon Weir Lodge

I had a wonderful stay at Salmon Weir ,Rachael is so welcoming.Her home is lovely,home cooked breakfast every morning.Bedroom was clean and cosey. Definitely will be returning. I can't recommend this enough.

Breakfast varied by day which was a great surprise. Our host was a wonderful cook and was able to tell us about each item. She also had food and coffee ready for our designated breakfast time each day, which was wonderful.

Very friendly ,fire in sitting room ,next to river.

Breakfast was better than expected with home cooked treats on offer. Very easy walk into town but far enough away to from any town noise. The location on the river was lovely along with the resident ducks.

The hotel was lovely with beautiful decor and an excellent location. Rachel made us feel very welcome and the breakfasts she provided were amazing. Would definitely recommend this property.

The bedside lamp was difficult to access from the bed and because there was no street lights the room was very dark at night.

Rechael è una padrona di casa fantastica. Cordiale, accomodante e discreta. Sempre disponibile a dare indicazioni e suggerimenti. Si vede che ci tiene molto alla casa ed ai suoi ospiti, le camere sono arredate con cura. Gli asciugamani sono soffici e pulitissimi. I letti grandi, molto comodi e le lenzuola profumate. Tutte cose che difficilmente si trovano tutte insieme in un b&b inglese o irlandese. La colazione è la migliore in quasi due settimane di Irlanda. Cong infine è un piccolissimo paese ma con la possibilità di passeggiate molto suggestive tra boschi giardini e fiumi, nonché un’ottima base per visitare la regione. Se programmate di essere in zona, scegliete il Salmon Weir Lodge, non ve ne pentirete.

Breakfasts were excellent…great selection. Location for our needs very good. Size of room, comfort of the bed(s), and space for parking also great. Rachel was also extremely helpful providing lots of information about the area.
