Tanisha Heritage Haweli

Very friendly atmosphere. We were nearly members. All interesting buildings and Temples were reachable in walking distance. The owner of the hotel was very helpful for all questions and organised Tuk tuks for us. The fantastic dinner was for all guests together in a nice dining room. The hotel is in the Old City and tuk tuk is nessessary to reach the hotel.

Tanisha heritage, Bikaner 24th January 2025. Tanisha heritage was a very homely facility. We were early greeted by the owner who took us on a tour of the place, right up to the roof top space. Our room was on the first floor in a courtyard. In the centre of the courtyard was a family table where we took homemade breakfast and dinner. We were sat around the table with the other 4 guests and we were able to share stories of our trips, where we had been and where we were going; I really liked that. The room was quaint and quirky; very much Indian style; again a bonus. We had an ensuite with hot water for the shower and plenty of fluffy towels. I would definitely recommend this place to all adventurous travellers. I'm not sure if they had ground floor rooms for people with physical disabilities but one could always contact the property direct

Very authentically preserved old haveli building with excellent location in the old part of the city. The room was big and comfortable. The furniture is not new but was perfectly clean; a big terrace with a lot of green plants in front of the room; the food you can order there is home made and tasty.

not enough hot water, there is just cold water from the shower, so you need to use a bucket for the hot water; the room and the bathroom need some renovation. you should reach the hotel only with rickshaw, not possible to reach the hotel with a car because of the narrow streets (it is not mentioned in the description of the property).

Best accommodation in bikaner. Delicious homemade food. Manisha took care of everything like a family member. Never had such care in any stay. Clean and beautiful place.

The location is good, at a stone's throw distance to the famous Rampuria Haveli, the Bikaner railway station is within 2 km, and the old market of Bikaner is adjacent. The host is very helpful and a hard-working lady who manages all the chores single-handedly. It is a little cozy homestay, a different experience altogether.

The place is not for you if you expect the luxuries of the hotels. It doesn't have a lift so if you have heavy luggage, that might be a problem. The nearby alleys are very filthy (although that is not in the owner's control). The room is small and lacks a professional touch.
