Tanisha Heritage Haweli

We loved the location in the old city and the Haweli was spotlessly clean and a very cosy atmosphere. We found Anil and Manisha to be very good hosts.

Wifi in our room was hit and miss

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed warmly and true Indian hospitality shown. The place is very pretty, the good excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

The haveli is beautiful, and the family who own it, likewise. From the moment I arrived, they made me so welcome, and treated me like family. Manisha cooks delicious food, which of course is much nicer (and safer) than eating at outside restaurants. Anil arranged dental appointments for me, and accompanied me each time. They were always on hand to give information and advice. Their daughter Tanisha is delightful, and I enjoyed our daily chats. They all speak very good English. The family invited me to go along with them to a wedding anniversary function, where I became immersed in local culture. The cleaning staff always had a smile, and one of them even cleaned my dirty sandals. I left in the early morning to catch a train; Anil arranged the rickshaw, and woke Manisha so she could wish me farewell with a warm hug. Altogether I had a wonderful stay, and have nothing negative to say about it.

There was nothing to dislike. It was perfect.

The ambience of the haveli had an aesthetic feel to stay and the terrace area had wonderful greenery to spend some time.

Cross ventilation in rooms seemed less.

We felt right away at home. Clean facilities, bathroom included. The hotel is family operated with love and you can feel that!

It was very central & clean. The owners are very sweet & kind. The bathrooms need some attention in that the water in the sink just ran onto the floor & there didn't seem to be a drain for the shower.

I adored this guesthouse. The lady of the house, Manisha, was hospitable and helpful. She is house proud and takes great delight in decorating and making everything beautiful. She cooks, cleans, washes and is of complete service. The man of the house, Anil, was happy to source medication for me when I fell sick. He served breakfast and generally supervised everything happening each day. They are just starting renovations, which looks great. The rooms are simple, but comfortable. The home itself is a masterpiece.
