Impossible to change - but 3km from main restaurants etc. in town..

Really nice room with nice gardens outside to sit in and enjoy. Warm welcome from the host. Very good breakfast. Close to Lake Taupo where you can take a Catamaran out on the lake,

Tea and coffee room available with biscuits at all times. Nice to be able to make a drink. Very spacious bathroom and great garden. Secure shed available for bike storage. Quiet location but a bit out of the way - further from the main centre of Taupo. There is the yaucht club at the end of the road which did great pizza but took a long time (over an hour to arrive) and was very busy (possibly had a function on). Other way there is a small shop and takeaway and within 15 mins walk there is a Woolworths.

Breakfast was quite basic - cereal and toast and a little fruit but bananas were black. Not available until 8:30am when I stayed which was quite late - I would have preferred to be able to leave before 8 for my travels but had to delay and change slightly to be able to have breakfast. Breakfast is served in the family house off the kitchen counter and with one large dining table for everyone, which seemed a bit strange and with the owner just sat in the lounge. She was very chatty and lovely but I felt a bit uncomfortable/was in their space. For the price I would have expected more from breakfast and maybe hot items. It seemed breakfast was at 8:30 and that's it, rather than being available for a duration and you could go when you wanted. Rooms are attached to house so you do hear some noise from there and there are only 3 I believe. Wasn't quite what I was expecting but maybe I hadn't read all the info properly.

The location was perfect. Just a short walk to the sailing club for pizza & music. The garden outlook was beautiful.

- Quiet location with parking - The grounds are great: the room was clean and included a fan, the shared coffee/tea room was comfortable, and the gardens are very peaceful. - Correspondence with Donna before and during our stay was excellent. She was a great resource for questions and always responded quickly. - We had an early start and Donna offered some food for us the night before to assemble breakfast in the morning (e.g., fruit, bread, jam/peanut butter, etc.)

- We stayed in the King Room, which includes a sofa bed but bedding for the sofa bed was not available. - Breakfast was served at 8:30am, which we found rather late compared to other stays. Breakfast included yogurt, cereals, fruits, cheese, and coffee/tea. - There was no sign confirming the B&B in front of the house, but there is a sign at the door.

Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Bed comfortable. Garden is lovely.

Beautiful property, lots of flowers and trees in garden. Adorable little dog, "Elvis" provided entertainment, lol!

Wished we had the time to stay more nights there.

Lovely B&B. Donna was very welcoming and provided everything what's needed. Especially enjoyed the home grown fruits and vegetables for the breakfast which was the best we had so far in terms of variability as well as taste.
