Fantastic location, hidden away on the shores of Lake Como with amazing views. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Breakfast was amazing, and super helpful when we had an early train to catch preparing something for us to go!! Dinner downstairs in the bar is a must for anyone staying!

Tornoallariva BnB was a lovely authentic village stay on the lake front in Torno. The host Marco was exceptional and the breakfast prepared by his mother was delicious. The room was spacious, the best was super comfortable and the facilities quite adequate. To wake every morning to the most wonderful view of Lake Como was a dream! Downstairs was a bar where we enjoyed evening Aperols and Marco gave us a great recommendations for dinner next door at Hotel Vapore. Couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more Thank you Marco

Nothing except having to say goodbye!

An authentic Italian experience — quaint, full of charm and soul. From the moment we arrived, we were wrapped in warmth — the staff, the location, and the unbelievably comfortable beds made it feel like a home away from home. As Aussies, we’re used to air conditioning, but that’s not the European way — and in truth, it’s all part of the romance. Throw open the doors, let the evening air drift in, and allow the sounds of life to find you. Most nights, we were serenaded not by performers, but by the beautiful rhythm of local life — neighbours sharing meals, conversations floating on the breeze, laughter echoing through the piazza. The breakfast? More than generous — an abundant spread with something for every craving, a delightful start to each day. And the location couldn’t be better — with the ferry right at our doorstep, exploring this tricky-to-navigate area became effortless. Marc and the team welcomed us with genuine hospitality that’s hard to come by. We didn’t just stay here — we felt it. A true taste of Italy, in all the best ways.

Try to arrive by water, the walk from the taxi was a killer, that’s on us for not reaching ferry times better. The taxi driver was great but they can’t work miracles or break the rules.

I cannot recommend Tornoallariva highly enough - I wish I was still there! The rooms are spacious and airy with amazing views of the lake and the main piazza, the breakfast is generous and delicious, the staff are phenomenally kind and helpful, and the atmosphere is perfect, so relaxed and easy. Would definitely stay again and highly, highly recommend. The most relaxing and beautiful part of our trip to Italy was at Tornoallariva.

Whole experience was excellent..nothing bad

The location, the staff, the vibe, it was all amazing! Looking forward to doing it again!

Shared bathroom was very clean at all times - yet still shared, so some need to adjust. It’s also important to be mindful of the bar below: we loved the weekend buzz and the sense of sharing the local lifestyle but it could be more difficult for those with the early-bird habits.

First, the stuff are really nice and helpful. Second, The room was huge with a confortable bed, we had an incredible sleep. We woke up with bird singing early in the morning. The best of all, was the breakfast, homemade by the Nonna. Delicious, well presented and generous.
