"Exceptional"

Beautiful rooms with quality furniture and furnishings. Appears very new deco and a cosy feel. Amazing friendly family who run the business. Breakfast was great value and fresh fruit salad, cereals, toast and hot options. Big portions but very tasty. I would say that it is too cheap per night and would happily have paid more money. Other guests we chatted to at breakfast had enjoyed their stay which says it all. We would definitely stay again.

My husband found the mattress too firm but that's personal choice and would recommend a mattress topper to be available. Like I mentioned above, it looks brand new furniture so may just need time for it to flex. The pillows were comfy but I would have preferred a firmer one which you can request. I didn't as we came back at 11pm from visiting family in the area and didn't want to disturb and again it's personal choice.

"Excellent stay, only a couple of niggles"

Very friendly hosts, great room, comfy bed, tasty breakfast, free and ample parking.

No free biscuits this time (but maybe they just ran out), the shower lacked pressure.

Our best friend stayed xx for my hubby's 60th birthday xx he couldn't stop talking about it xx how great paul was and the amazing breakfast xx next time his up from London he will be staying again xx

The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Excellent breakfast with several options on offer. The room is nice and comfortable with everything you need. Car parking is plentiful and easy to access. Thanks again to Paul and Nikki for a very nice stay.

It was a great location and with easy parking next to the property. The room was clean and well furnished and the owners obviously take great pride in providing a welcoming environment and it really showed. Also excellent breakfast.

"Good value for money."

The proprietor was very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities. WiFi signal good excellent shower. Breakfast was an option but we didn’t partake so cannot comment.

Nothing springs to mind. Possibly the ring camera shouting at us when we went out.
