"The perfect air bnb experience!"

The room was more like a 5 star hotel than am air bnb. Terribly luxurious, warm and super comfy. The walk in shower was perfect and they kindly left out lots of various sized towels. The room is well kitted out for making yourself tea or keeping cans in the mini fridge. The service was wonderfully warm and hospitable. It all felt very easy and relaxing. The location in as central as it possibly could be and everything is you'll need is right around the corner. I would stay again in a heartbeat. In fact, I'm already planning to return to Anchor House.

Nicola and Paul went above and beyond to make us welcome and comfortable. Their friendliness was appreciated and local advice was helpful. The rooms were cosy and well-equipped whilst breakfast was plentiful and completely delicious! Thank you, Nicola and Paul!

Bit too much fabric conditioner on linen bit too fragrent but did not spoil my stay. A wonderful B&B.

Rooms of very high standard. Well kept, very clean & good quality towels, heating/cooling/ tea etc. Hosts were very helpful & friendly. Good off street parking

Bed did not have a flat sheet, only the synthetic (standard these days) duvet. Room 4 faces main road so some noise from passing traffic.
