7th Heaven Lodge and Cafe

Good meals, it would be a challenging experience for city dwellers and yet you will be appreciative of the culture and discipline of the people(hardworking).

It is not for the faint of heart nor weak knees nor legs, moderate to strenuous activity- rustic, not to scare you, rice terraces, what can go wrong, yet it is awesome, the experience is exhilarating!

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Simple room but all clean and traditional feel. Location good for bus & jeepney (at church), and trike access and tourist office. Great view from window and even better from breakfast balcony. Really helpful staff considering Booking.com allowed us to book a last room which wasn't available, luckily I think they had a no show? Coffee is good as well ifugau brew. And their meals are big enough for 2 so you save money as well ! Recommend the pancakes with added mango.

The price was great, as was the view from my room. I found the Philippines in general very noisy. But this was a little oasis. The staff were friendly and helpful. They organised a couple of trips for me and were reliable. It is walking distance to the town centre. My room was spacious and quiet. I had my own toilet / shower room nearby. There was also a ( limited ) choice of food on offer. When i arrived from Manila on the overnight bus, i got picked up from the bus stop which was helpful.

The choice of food wasn't great but TBH i am a fussy eater.

It was a great experience, a fantastic experience indeed! A breathtaking place and lovely people you just can't forget both as professionals and human beings. They went above and beyond - any time - to meet our expectations. As we see it, the place is comfortable enough to fully enjoy a few days far, very far from the hectic pace of modern life, Life is so beautiful when you can take as a blessing whatever dedicated people are willing and happy to offer you. We enjoyed both accommodation and food as well as the guided tours David and his family so devotedly organized for us. From the very moment I booked, I could keep in touch with the lodge through Cindy Jane who responded each time in the most efficient and pleasant way. Excellent value for money all along the way, and - even more important - a keen sense of authenticity and friendliness from all. Congratulations, folks! We do hope that many many other visitors - for still many many years - will be able to enjoy 7th Heaven Lodge & Cafe when coming to Banaue. We'll remember your faces, names and smiles together with the fantastic terraces and landscapes we discovered there : more than just a place to stay, the lodge is a place where you feel at home, spending a few days with people you won't fail to see as old friends. We wish you all the best and commit ourselves to advising 7th Heaven Lodge & Cafe to anybody anxious to travel to the Ifugao lands and the dramatic rice terraces in Banaue.

They really care about travelers. Arrived early morning on a night bus and was allowed to use their facilities before.departure on a two days hike to Batad (my reservation was for the night after the trek), they prepared packed lunch for me, stored my bag. This is a great place to stay.

Very reasonable price and decent room. Food was excellent! Super friendly staff also. They also give recommendations to get the most out of 2 days, organize transport and a guide and are also very flexible. We had already checked out (at 10:00), but since we spent the day in Batad, we were able to wash and change our clothes before getting on the bus.

FYI the bathroom is shared.

Location is excellent, magnificent view across Banaue and a short walk into town (only 3 minute walk to the Manila/Sagada bus stop). They arrange a tricycle pick up from the bus stop. Staff are lovely, all extremely friendly and helpful. The in-house cafe serves great food. Good strong wifi.

Rooms are on the small side with little space to adequately store luggage without tripping over it. Rooms are also uninspiring being completely finished (walls and ceiling) in unfinished plywood, it’s like living in a plywood cube.

Nice place and night staff they are very gentle and taking care about all the needs. High recommended and super value for the price!
