The hosts Lynn and Pete were fantastic, extremely friendly and welcoming. Very interesting and talented people who restored the barn. The room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast cooked to order was delicious and just what I needed. The Old Barn is set in a beautiful quiet location, I wished I could have stayed longer.

Superb breakfast with caring and attentive hosts. The location and private parking were perfect for this trip, while heading to a Porsche club event. Just a few miles outside Buxton and down a no through road, it was a lovely quiet location and I even heard the Tawny owl one night! It offers good access to the region, with walking available from the door.

If I'm going to be picky, the access road was a bit rough in places, but then I was in a 911 so its not really a valid moan as, you just need to go careful. Also, of course, you do need to drive to get into Buxton, but its not far.

Lovely quiet area. Super clean and comfy rooms, with everything you need and really comfortable beds Lynn and Pete were amazing host, so welcoming and lovely and they cooked a wonderful breakfast
