Semujan Bungalow

The room was in a convenient location near markets and restaurants in Ubud. The air conditioning worked great. The staff helped us to hire a scooter (100,000 per day) and with the laundry service (25,000 per kg). A big water dispenser was supplied. The view overlooking the rice fields was nice.

The bed was creaky, with one end broken. A gap in the window was cellotaped closed. The room was not very secure and while the closet could be locked, but the doors pulled open again making the lick and key redundant. The bathroom and kitchen were dark. 2 out of 3 stoves in the kitchen worked. The shower water was luke warm not hot and you had to boil water on the stove to wash dishes with. There was loud music from the place next door, but this stopped at about 11pm. A lot of water accumulated on the balcony in the rain, something tongue this off would have been good so we did not constantly get wet feet. In the kitchen there were many ants. Our driver taking us to the hotel was male, and after dropping us off he sent me whatsapp links to YouTube videos. This was strange and I would have been very uncomfortable if I were traveling alone.

not at all clean. very very old bathroom. location is good but not at all neat. so many insects and lizards around. very bad stay

good location, owner is friendly

Fridge not working and most kitchen stuff not so good. also the view is really only on the top floors. not really hot water, mostly warm, so not so good for the bathtub 😞. I guess the price was low so didn’t expect much.
