VerdeAmar Eco Lodge Jungle Retreat

Breakfast was delicious, with homemade bread! The location was so quiet and peaceful, we had the best night's sleep of our vacation here. Friendly owners who always went out of their way for us.

L’atmosphère tranquille au milieu de la nature, loin des beachs clubs américanisés de la côte, laissant apercevoir la beauté brute de la région, le chant des oiseaux, les activités dans l’environnement immédiat (charmant village de Chemuyil, cenotes peu frequentées et sublimes, Akumal…), la decoration soignée, les animaux, le jardin et la piscine tres agreables… La qualité de la nourriture (diner et petit-déjeuner).

au milieu de la jungle, la route est tres accidentee (de nombreux trous, gros cailloux etc.). Accessible avec une bonne voiture seulement et tres lentement. Si vous n’etes pas vehiculé, elle reste praticable avec un bon scooter et suffisamment d’expérience (je l’ai fait). Ne pas utiliser Google Maps. Les deux chiens sont de vraies peluches une fois qu’ils nous connaissent mais tres impressionnants à l’arrivée, et détestent les deux-roues ! Un double emploi peluches/ chiens de garde. La nourriture est excellente mais chere (comme tout dans cette region de Tulum malheureusement…). Il serait utile de fournir aux clients un coin cuisine avec a minima un frigidaire partagé et un micro-ondes ou une plaque de cuisson pour etre un peu plus indépendant.

Everything. Truly amazing and an oasis in the jungle. Food was unreal and everything here has been well thought out 🙏🏽

Its very nice. People very nice. Just its very far in the jungle with a bad road to go. Do not go in the night for the first time....you wont find it.

Bad road. Far from the town and very long to go on very bad road in the jungle....500m and not well signed. So in the night you will not find it.

Everything was perfect: lovely nest in the jungle still close to everything, and charming hosts with great cooking skills!

The secluded location in the middle of the woods, the warm welcome from the hosts, the comfortable facilities (including swimming pool). It felt like a friendly cocoon away from the buzzing coast.

Because the location is so isolated in the forest, it is quite tricky to navigate at night so it feels safer to eat on site the lovely food prepared by the hosts. However that makes it an expensive stay in the end. Despite that it remains my favorite place in Quintana Roo.

It was so lovely to arrive at VerdeAmar, a little oasis in the jungle. The property is very special and the pool lovely. The bedroom was beautiful and the bed the most comfortable of all our travels in Mexico. We loved sleeping with the feeling of being up in the trees. We were sad to leave and wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a wonderful time with Caro and Beppe and the 2 lovely dogs Blue & Apollo. The property is immerse in the jungle and so relaxing ! Unfortunately we booked only one night but we would have stayed much longer. Breakfast and dinner were something special 🙏🏻 grazie amici!
