Saint Martin's Bed and Breakfast

i wish I had a map of the location ot Saint Martins.I did not have a smart phone and had to ask directions from the local pizza delivery man!! All part of the adventure. Dennis our host was magnificent. Great breakfast, comfy bed, quiet location. Fantastic rose garden and menagerie.

see above re, map. You must like animals, if you are going to stay here. The eggs for breakfast were the freshest I,ve ever had.

From the second we arrived we were made to feel at home! Immediately offered a cuppa, then not only recommended somewhere to go eat, but rang and reserved us a table, walked us over and made sure we had a pub that could not only feed us but also be one to watch the football (Euro 2024 England game!). Beds super comfortable, lovely decor throughout. Breakfast was a culinary delight, lovely fresh fruit and yoghurt, plenty of choice of cereals and the best breakfast we had on the trip. We had a lovely chat after before we headed off. Did I mention the friendly house dog too? Guess I have now. Thanks so much, was the best stay of our entire trip!

Very warm welcome from Dennis and Izzy the dog, we were offered a drink on arrival, which was lovely and even something to eat if we had wanted it. The accommodation was spotlessly clean throughout, our bed was very comfy and the shower was powerful and hot. Dennis made a reservation for us at a local restaurant and even walked us there with the dog, to make sure we got there. Breakfast was really good, all cooked fresh to order using good quality food and nicely presented. We met the ducks , chickens and cats who also live there. The location is good, only a short drive from Kinsale. We would definitely recommend staying here ,it was wonderful.

The Host was friendly who wanted to make our stay as pleasent as possible . We loved his garden the decor inside and the hospitality shown

All was good there was nothing to dislike

We were warmly welcomed by our host, Denis. We chatted for quite a while. Breakfast was superb. Denis checked with us on a few occasions to make sure we had enough of everything. Our fry was cooked to perfection. The decor was impressive with a great attention to detail. There was a great sense of security as the property is enclosed by a gate. The surrounds are beautifully kept with a lovely garden full of flowers and plants. As we were heading to a wedding nearby the following morniing and couldn't access our hotel pre-wedding Denis kindly allowed us to return to the premises after check-out time to change and get ready. It was much appreciated with an offer of a cup of tea thrown in. Would highly recommend this property.

There was nothing to not like. The bedroom doesn't have an en suite but the bathroom is just a few steps away. As there was no one staying in the other room it was not an issue.

Everything was perfect… the beautiful house - inside & out, super friendly host & the cutest little co-host (Izzy the dog). Dennis & Izzy made us feel super comfortable… it was liking talking with an old friend. We chatted so much I almost forgot we had to leave! Was really a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!!

Nothing- all was perfect

Loved the warm and welcoming host! Denis was terrific and extended a very warm welcome especially since I was arriving a little late. The two rooms offered privacy between guests.

Accidently missed the accommodation gates and pulled into the house two doors down. Maybe a more visible sign but wasn't a problem in the end.
