"Adventure trip around Ecuador"

The place, where we were accommodated was modern, clean, with a good location. The host family was kind and responsive. They recommended excellent places for us to visit. They took and returned our dirty clothes to a public laundry. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. We were also served coffee, tea and fresh fruit juice.

The owner was such a nice guy who helped me with everything I asked and went out of his way to help even if it did not have to do with the hotel at all. Super great for a solo traveler as I had all my questions, worries, etc cared for.

"DO NOT STAY THERE!!!!!"

NOTHING!!!

First of all the location is very hard to find and once I found it, there was NO reception area/person. I HAD TO RING THE DOOR BELL UNTIL A GIRL THAT LOOKED LIKE SHE JUST WOKE UP CAME TO THE DOOR. THE PLACE LOOKED EMPTY AND NOT WELCOMING SO I ASKED HER IF THERE WERE ANY OTHER PEOPLE STAYING THERE AND SHE SAID "NO". I STILL WANTED TO SEE THE ROOM SO I WENT UPSTAIRS. THE PLACE LOOKED NOT CLEAN AT ALL. I DIDN'T FEEL SAFE AT ALL SO I DECIDED TO LEAVE. THIS PLACE LOOKED LIKE A HOUSE IN A SCARY MOVIE!!!!

"Maybe ok for backpackers for one night"

Location is ok. Breakfast is good.

Very cold. Very few furniture and towels. Cold water in the tab. Shower is substandard with a concrete floor. Few power outlets and no side table lamps.
