What was there not to like....From the moment we (myself, my teenage daughter and my best friend) arrived we received a warm welcome from Veronique and Nosey. We felt instantly at home and comfortable to speak freely. I hadn't been back in 17 years so to be met with this familiar sincerity and hospitality was extremely moving and meant alot to me especially since it was my daughter's first experience of her other roots besides British. I cannot express how much staying there enhanced our holiday. Veronique was accommodating in accepting my family and friends popping in to see us briefly on 2 ocassions. We booked 2 rooms so my friend and I could go to sleep at a decent hour and rise early. Allowing my teenage daughter to catch up with friends back home until silly o'clock and then so incredibly kind and understanding Veronique would cook her requested brekkie last allowing my daughter to have extra sleep and Nosey taking it to her room so she could eat it in her leisure then face the world with a renewed freshness. Parents will understand that comment. It was delightful for me to be able to eat an uninterrupted brekkie and have a cup of tea. Tick tick!! Nosey was at hand to do the odd clothing washing request as we were not successful in finding an open laundromat. Honestly it was quite emotional saying goodbye to them. It's so surreal in life how quickly you can become attached to people in a short space of time. But it's not surprising when you meet people like this. Thank you guys for an incredibly memorable stay and the best omelette I ever had. And I've had more than a few in my travels. Much love and hopefully we will meet again xo

From the time we arrived, we received a warm welcome from Nosipho. The hosts Veronique & John were awesome. They made us feel at home. We had pleasant conversations while sitting by the Lapa and having a scrumptious breakfast made by Veronique. I like the fact that they are hands-on, made our stay extra special. We are definitely coming back before the end of the year. Next time, we will try Veronique's famous Omelette. Loved the location, it's so central within a kilometer you find shops and restaurants. Almost heaven is the place to be if tranquility is what you are looking for.
