Summer Leaves

Mickey and Mary were amazing hosts! They really do care and that starts even before you get to their lovely little place in Hakuba. They cook up amazing breakfasts that change every day and they are willing to go the extra mile and shuttle you to and from the nearby Tsugaike ski resort. The rooms are generously sized for Japanese standards and are clean and comfortable. I would recommend anyone wanting a ski holiday in Hakuba to stay at Summer Leaves.

Nothing at all. It was perfect

Friendly hosts assisted with local transport, smooth communication, neat and clean room with good heating system. Conveniently located near Ochikura bus stop for easy access to Hakuba ski resorts.

After several times in Hakuba we were very glad to find this family run property with around 10-12 rooms. Location near Tsugaike is quiet and surrounded by nature. Better if you are driving but the owners will help anyone who needs a lift. The owners took good care of us and were very helpful with any question we had. Rooms are small but more than enough for 2-3 persons and in good condition. The common areas are spacious and especially the dining area for breakfast and general use was very spacious and clean. Western style Breakfast was very good and changing everyday, which is much appreciated.

Nothing to note.

Host were ever so willing to assist on queries and even provide shuttle services to the nearest ski slope and town.

Upkeep of facilities as some of the facilities were not working. especially the Onsen Bath pool. Would be great to have it working again.
