The staff. Mickey and Mary were amazing hosts that never failed to make feel right at home. They do a lot for their guests. The rooms were very comfortable as well.

"Perfect stay and felt like home."

The owners, Mickey and Mary, were absolute angels— super delightful, super friendly, and extremely accomodating. The hotel was extremely comfortable and the provided breakfasts were great. The hotel provides free transport to Tsugaike ski lifts which is only a 3 minute drive away. Staying at Summer Leaves alone elevated our Hakuba experience, and I would 100% recommend anyone looking to stay in Hakuba to go here. There is really no better place to stay, where you can feel as welcomed and comfortable.

Very kind family owned hotel. Mary and Mickey were the most wholesome and kind people my wife and I have ever met. They helped us out of a tough situation and left us with an everlasting impression.

Cozy stay in Hakuba close to the Tsugaike Ski Resort ideal for beginners. The owners were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely stay again! 😊
