Everything: from the location to the style of the apartment. It has it all and Luciana will go beyond to make your staying unforgettable. Silent, spacious, fully accessorised, has an heartwarming atmosfere; it's at the fringe of the most beautiful part of the sasso caveoso, and it's close to all of the vibrant little spots for aperitivo and dinner, as well as shopping opportunities and monuments visits. One of my ever fav accommodations.

Stupenda posizione, proprio ai piedi della chiesa rupestre di Santa Maria de Idris, splendida accoglienza da parte di Luciana, con i suoi ottimi suggerimenti, che ringrazio soprattutto per averci consigliato Stefania, una guida professionista di Matera, fantastica.

Nulla da segnalare, se non una possibile difficoltà per chi ha problemi di deambulazione, per via delle scale esterne per raggiungere le camere. Ma Matera è (anche) questo.

Man ist mittendrin in einem der spannendsten Teile der Sassi (also der Stadtteile mit den berühmt-berüchtigten Höhlenwohnungen) in dieser faszinierenden Stadt. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten liegen zum großen Teil in einem Umkreis von 250 Metern. Das Zimmer ist schön, die Klimaanlage hilft selbst bei brutaler Juli-Hitze, es gibt sogar einen kleinen Balkon, um abends die großartige Stimmung bei einem Glas Wein zu bestaunen. Direkt hinter dem Haus liegt eine der coolsten Bars, die ich kenne (aber klein, also frühzeitig zum Aperitivo da sein...). Und das Beste: Luciana ist eine fantastische Gastgeberin. Das sehr reichhaltige Frühstück (jeden Tag anders) auf ihrer Terrasse ist wunderbar. Kleiner Tipp: Man kann in diesem Teil von Matera nicht mit dem Auto vorfahren, das nächste Parkhaus ist einige hundert Meter entfernt. Wir hatten uns ein kleines Gepäck für die zwei Nächte Aufenthalt gepackt und den Rest im Auto gelassen. Spart etliche Schweißtropfen ;-) .

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse de luciana, l'hospitalité avec un grand H. Le petit déjeuner délicieux 😋 et copieux. Les conseils très pertinents. Son sourire et sa chaleur.

Très bien située au cœur du centre historique de la vieille ville de Matera, la chambre est néanmoins au calme. Le petit déjeuner très copieux, varié, préparé avec beaucoup d’attention par Luciana est servi sur la terrasse. Luciana est une hôtesse très charmante et attentionnée qui aime bien partager un moment avec les gens et qui nous a recommandé de très bonnes adresses de restaurant pour le soir. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement

Le parking payant est un peu éloigné, mais l'avantage est qu'il n'y a pas presque pas de véhicule dans la vieille ville.

L'amabilité et la prévenance de notre hôte ainsi que l'accueil chaleureux, les conseils et la disponibilité de Nadia.

Comme le logement est situé dans la zone a trafic limité il est préférable de prévoir une petite valise ou un sac léger pour pouvoir s'y rendre facilement.

Upon arrival we received a very cordial welcome by Luciana as we were friends. She gave us an introduction to Old Matera and recommended various walking tours in the Centro Storico. The room and its bathroom were very spacious. The view from the little terrace in front of the room on Old Matera was outstanding. Morning breakfast was varied and lovingly prepared.

The location was excellent - relatively close to a parking station and right in the middle of the action. The room and bathroom were both of s good size, comfortable bed with extra pillows and a fabulous home made breakfast every morning. The host Massimo was always smiling, very keen to provide assistance and responded quickly to any requests.

We were a little disappointed in the old and rickety outdoor furniture on the tiny balcony with a planter box of dead weeds and also that the room didn't have some basics like a wine opener or wine glasses, coffee mugs (despite a kettle), no water provided etc. We were not able to access the internet either which was very inconvenient.

Luciana was so sweet. The view was amazing.

The water pressure
