"An excellent venue when visiting local friend"

Large comfortable room with huge ensuite . Temp control adequate.

Lack of WiFi the only problem and their excellent kitchen was closed for the night of arrival. We had to use the White Horse-not good!

"A hidden gem at a very affordable price"

What a nice little gem to find! The room was very spacious, clean and had drink making facilities. The breakfast - WOW! A lovely cooked breakfast with the freshest of meat and the dining room was really cosy. Loved it!

The room was well equipped and clean. The staff were attentive. The food at the pub was superb.

Last orders at the bar was a bit early. But it was a quiet Tuesday

The lovely big room and breakfast.

The evening meal was disappointing on this occasion and not to our taste. We ordered what we thought was plain pan fried fish but it came with a sauce poured over it that we didn’t like.
