Julie went out of her way to help in every way. It is a unique location, with domestic animals abounding all around. We were there to attend a ceremony at Delgatie Castle and the location was perfect for this. Breakfast was particularly good. We will return!

Julie told us that the local council, Aberdeenshire, had ordered the removal of all direction signs to her property. Clearly it was not her fault and we arrived just as the light was fading. Though we had a 1:50,000 OS map it was still a touch confusing. Otherewise it was a perfect two night stay.

Friendly hosts, excellent breakfast options and comfortable clean rooms!! BEWARE OF THE SECURITY GEESE!!! George is the Head of security and can be a little over the top in carrying out his duties. Wonderful place to stay, will hopefully be back with the family to stay!

Very friendly landlady. Cute animals on site. Tasty and substantial breakfast. Nice location.

The place was a little difficult to find, larger notice on road would help.

the location. the helpfulness of the owner breakfast good except cheap sausages and no marmalade

rather Spartan feel- only a scraping of coffee and sugar left although we could have asked for more, no wardrobe just a rail, poor quality sausages etc. bed had a mattress covered in “bobbles” which you could feel through the two sheets covering it.
