FIGTREE GUESTHOUSE

The staff is exceptional especially Pedro and Luis at the reception. Very helpful, always available even at night. The house is super clean, with a nice decoration and beautiful garden in the heart of one of the most exclusive neighbours in Maputo. As I was travelling with my daughter and there was only one large bed in the room #4, the team put an extra bed immediately to arrange with the initial request. They are very customers service oriented and speak fluent English. Best stay in Maputo for leisure and professional trip so far.

The Room #3: The fact that there is no door with the toilets and the room, make this room not very suitable for two people in terms of privacy while you are at the toilet. It is more fitted for only one person. The Room #4 is exceptional, beautiful bathroom and very large bed, being also on the most quiet street around

We received a warm welcome and they carried all our bags up to our room. It’s a very cute homey space with beautiful art and interior decoration. The breakfast/outdoor area is a beautiful green oasis. The breakfast selection was small however perfect - you have all you need. Because there’s not many rooms at the guest house, it’s very calm at the venue. We had the whole pool area and breakfast area to ourselves basically. A real treat! The staff is wonderful, kind and helpful. *We are a lesbian couple and we felt very safe and appreciated.

The noisy road just outside the guest house. It was loud. There was also no hot water when we stayed there.

Excellent communication for arrangements. Very warm welcoming and a wonderful house in a very quiet yet well located neighborhood.

We loved the style and decoration, the beds and mosquitoe nets, the running machine and the breakfast.

Some.rooms face the main road and its very noisy with the traffic (earplugs needed). Windows are old fashioned.or non existent.

As always a pleasure to stay.

There was loud music until 3am preventing us from having any sleep. I hope it was just a once off concert nearby and not a nightclub as it will be a pity.
