Salama Village Kigali

Great location and good value. This was a last minute booking after we were scammed TWICE in a row by other properties listed on this platform, so it was a relief to find a legitimate property in Kigali. Junior the property manager was very helpful and friendly, he sorted out any problems we had. The villa was perfect for our group. Good space and nice grounds.

We had to ask for the bathrooms to be cleaned again and the kitchen was a little dilapidated.

The bedroom size was okay and the terrace outside the room was green and nice.

The problem was the cleanliness. The kitchen was filthy and stinking, even after cleaning and since there is no restaurant, one is forced to cook there incase you want anything apart from breakfast. I was not given a receipt when I checked out and now it has been almost a week and I still did not get any receipt.

The main thing I liked about the property was the service. Junior made breakfast for me personally and arranged for taxis or whatever I needed at any time.

It was more of a bare bones, kind of a hotel but that’s what I was expect at that price level so it was a good value. I later moved to a more expensive hotel, and one thing I like that they had was listing of day trips you could do And also they had a tub vs just a shower.

The warm welcome and excellent customer service provided by Mushishi junior was commendable.

It’s an oasis of trees and gardens. The property is older but well maintained.

Breakfast quality/variety shall be improved. * Rooms shall be cleaned every day,towels and bedsheets shall be changed and consumable items shall be good quality.
