Salama Village Kigali

I liked the setting, the environment, it was peaceful to stay.

What I found a little annoying was the price announced on the booking site which differs from what I paid on site, other things, welcome was magnificent, friendly staff, a good feeling at first contact

The people, the breakfast, the mosquito netting, the size and comfort of the bed, the room, etc. The breakfast was amazing - I could never finish it because of the sheer portion size. The room curtains were dark and kept the room cool and dark for a nice sleep. The people were absolutely phenomenal - top quality service surpassing my experiences at 5 star hotels. They really treat you well, but also like a friend. I felt like I was going home every time returning to the accommodation. Big shout out to Junior, especially. The only regret I have with this accommodation is that I didn't have enough cash on me to give a larger tip when I left!

Shampoo wasn't provided, but I brought my own. The hot water's also limited at times, but definitely more than enough for a warm shower. The location's good, but not known by many motorbike drivers, so I often have to help them navigate - not a big issue at all though.

Comfortable stay, nice breakfast. Junior was great and solved any problem I had. Location was peaceful and a 5 minute walk from Niyo Arts cafe

Bathroom was a little outdated and the sink had a small leak

The place has a homestay feel. Quiet and slow. The staff, Mr Junior, was exceptional.

The overall vibe of the place needs improvement. The television was not working, a few mosquitoes.

Junior is a very caring manager of the small B&B Hotel. All rooms are very quiet, apart from the natural sounds (birds :)) Comfortable bed, private terrace, shared living room with SatTV. Junior prepares a good breakfast with fruit and eggs. Shower with hot water and good water pressure. Salama Village is located in a narrow road in Kacyiru close to the police HQ, which was a perfect location for me, since my office is in 2 min walking distance. It is a residential area with only two, but very good coffee shops in 10 min walking distance.

Outside stairs need maintenance. Be aware that there is no AC but a fan.

The room was large and clean. Junior was very helpful. The breakfast was very good!

The room was very warm and had no fan or air conditioning. The location is in a safe neighborhood but is some distance from city center and its attractions and shopping.

View is remarkable! Breakfast was extra!
