There is nothing wrong

The host was exceptional and could not do enough for us. Had the whole place to ourselves. Nice communal area. Great communication

The location was perfect for us, very quiet and peaceful but only a short drive to all the places we wanted to visit. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was perfect as we could just help ourselves to what we wanted. The host, Laura was very friendly without being intrusive and made us feel very welcome and at home.

The only fault we found was that one member of our group is elderly and has mobility difficulties. She found it tricky going across the gravel path with her walker, but was able to go across the grass instead for the most part. She also noted that although she had a ground floor room with an accessible bathroom, she couldn't use the bath as she isn't able to climb into it and there is no shower cubicle. Just something to note if you are travelling with anyone who has restricted mobility. That said, she loved everything else about the place and was very complimentary.

Nice warm welcome. Great facilities. Lovely and quiet. Clean. Communication from the owner was perfect.

The bathroom could do with a freshen up but it was still clean so no major issue.

Lack of attention to detail - sheet had a dirty mark on it, the lamp shade above the bed was covered in dust, there was someone else’s shower gel left in the shower and the small individual one had been used too. Breakfast was only just adequate
