Staggs Cottage

Lovely spacious room with big windows in a house in a very pretty tranquil village. Very friendly and accommodating host, great cooked breakfast, super comfortable bed - what more could you want? Highly recommend!

Good breakfast great location

Second stay here. Really like the personal care thats put into the buisness. Highly reccomend

The main reason for the trip was to find a reasonably priced overnight stay on our way from the Kent coast to Plymouth, and staying in surroundings that are calm and green. We definitely found the right spot. You could ask for any type of breakfast, in our case we preferred a vegetarian option.

Can’t think of any.

A charming cottage in a peaceful location. Good, comfortable facilities with everything you need for a short stay. The room was very comfortable, and had a lot of beautiful natural light. Jane, our host, was warm and welcoming - she made the stay even better. Breakfast was very generous and filling.

Nice quiet location in the countryside

Bathroom was not en suite. This was not made clear in the initial write up Cooked breakfast was previously made and held in the oven so was dry No toast even though butter and marmalade was on the table Might just have been a bad morning but was disappointing Can't really understand previous ratings based on our experience

Very peaceful and rural location

Not a criticism as such would be nice to have a bigger TV
