Staggs Cottage

The house and location are superb. It's very comfortable and it's peaceful. Jane is a superb and considerate hostess, and breakfasts and cleanliness were exceptional There is a lovely unspoilt view.

The property is set in the most tranquil of locations, with no road noise or anything else to ruin the peace and quiet. The property itself is lovely, well equipped and clean. The host, Jane, is a lovely, likeable person who makes an awesome fry up too.

What a lovely little B&B. Fantastic location and amazing staff.

Located in a beautiful and quiet part of Hampshire, this historic cottage, with original parts dating back to the 1700’s, exudes warmth and sophistication. Our host, Jane, made us feel welcome from the outset and we were treated to a double-aspect room downstairs. The cottage is dog friendly and our pups slept as soundly as we did. The bed was oversized and very comfortable with crisp white linens. Refreshments were in the room and the breakfast was hearty and filling. Overall a very pleasant stay, and we’ll stay again when visiting family in the area.

Our room wasn’t en-suite, but the bathroom located across the hall was large and the shower was powerful.

A very friendly and warm welcome with information given about nearby evening food options. Cosy and comfortable room with lovely garden views. Perfect ‘Full English’ breakfast made to order.
