The Bamboo Lodge - B&B / self-catered apartment

Exceptional accommodation, more like an apartment. Living room with log burner, bedroom area. Large beautiful shower room and modern kitchen with everything you needed.. table and chairs by a pond for you to use. Lovely owners who would help with anything.

There is nothing l didn't like but just wished there was a stool in kitchen to sit for a cup of tea and cereal instead of carrying it upstairs

So quiet and relaxing. We loved the bamboo growing it was tranquil. The distance to the pub and stores are a short distance, a 10 minute walk, 5 if your a fast walker. The owners were very polite and welcoming.

Nothing, it perfectly suited our needs

Kitchen was well-stocked for breakfast. The location was very good. We were able to walk to the village and explore the area on foot. The spaciousness and furnishings were lovely!

Not a problem for most folks, and we managed the stairs from the kitchen to the main room, but some folks may have trouble negotiating them as they are steep. However, they are also well-carpeted!

Lovely, peaceful location. We were welcomed by the owner who showed us the apartment and the outside terrace by the pond. The kitchen was well stocked for breakfast (so thoughtful!) and the living/bedroom space very comfortable! Loved the advice on local pubs too.

The quiet of the place, the cleanliness, the hospitality and the availability are the strong points of the house. We recommend this lodge to everyone to visit Kent

An absolutely gorgeous location with views of a stunning pond (and a heron every morning!). The lodge was everything you could need - clean, comfortable and well equipped. Our hosts were so warm and welcoming and we loved the treats left for us in the kitchen. Hope to come back again.

The only thing that could be improved upon is having some black out curtains on the window opposite the bed.

Very clean with high quality towels and bedding. The wood burning stove was a real asset. Access not great for those like ourselves with reduced mobility. Not full height access on RHS of bed
