Lots of choice provided for breakfast, very comfortable bed in beautiful apartment with fine view of the bamboo lake, and resident heron! Very tranquil.

Care is needed when rising from the bed, because of the sloping ceiling. The bathroom mirror is a bit too high for those of small stature - a full length mirror would be useful!

A modern property, fitted and furnished to the highest specification. Quiet and quaint location. Excellent provisions for breakfast. Very helpful and welcoming host. Beautifully landscaped and plenty of bamboo too! We would be very happy to return for another couple of nights - there are many interesting places to visit nearby.

When we arrived the host gave us a tour and pointed out the amenities. Everything was very clean, comfortable and well-appointed. In particular, I hugely appreciated the lengths which they went to accommodate my dietary requirements (gluten-intolerant). The kitchen was very well stocked with fresh fruit, orange juice, milk, cereal (gluten-free and otherwise) and gluten-free bread. They really went above and beyond what I'd expect from from a host.

Nothing! It's not often I say this of a place, but everything really was perfect.

Everything! The location is lovely albeit a little scary on the narrow winding roads at night (this says more about me as a driver than the accommodation though!!!). The lodge is really private, and the hosts are very respectful of your privacy. I felt very safe and comfortable during my stay and had everything I needed to self-cater. Breakfast supplies are excellent, and many tastes are catered for with additional supplies offered and provided during the stay. Hosts communication was excellent ensuring all my needs were met and queries / requests resolved.

Not finishing work early enough to enjoy the seating area by the pond - there's always next time! The lodge doesn't have a full-length mirror which for a lady isn't ideal! A fan would be welcome for the warmer nights.

We had everything we needed in the accommodation including breakfast. The bed was really comfortable and spacious room upstairs with good size bathroom. The setting was beautiful, very quiet with lovely surrounding Countryside. Lots of information provided by the hosts including several nearby pubs. Natalie and Rich were very attentive and lovely hosts. We will be back again Thank you
