The Bamboo Lodge - B&B / self-catered apartment

This was simply superb! The accommodation was very clean, spacious and well maintained. The owners were friendly, but respected my privacy. The breakfast food - left in the kitchen before arrival - was great. The location was also excellent, and ideal for those wishing to explore the Kent countryside. I'll definitely be back.

We've had a weekend away in this property and everything was lovely. The hosts were very sociable and the place was very clean with everything that you could possibly need: from fully equipped kitchen to books to read, wood burner supplies, plain and elegant decor. The shower has been amazing too. Shame that the weather wasn't that nice to be able to enjoy some lounging by the pond.

The downstairs floor is tilled and very cold. Bare this in mind and bring some slippers with you. You can only eat upstairs so you have to carry the food, even the breakfast all the way up. It could benefit of a small bar in the kitchen😊 Also we have liked some eggs for breakfast but the cereals were fine for the just 2 mornings spent in there😊.

This was a home away from home it was such a lovely weekend couldn't fault anything bed was lovely the view was lovely and very kind lovely people

Super friendly, helpful hosts. A home away from home. Lovely, new property which was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Fridge and cupboards were fully stocked for my arrival with plenty of options and quality produce. Cosy bed. Beautiful location for walks and exploring Pluckley and beyond. Also a great location for the Wealden Literary Festival. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
