Breakfast was continental style and plenty to choose from. No staff to be seen so used tables not cleared. Not keen on the distressed look, tables were sticky, water to make tea tepid. There were eggs in a fridge but why? Were you meant to eat them raw? Very strange!

The room, 7, needs to be cleaned! The carpet was badly stained, shower needs descaling. If it hadn’t been for the fact we’d had a long drive and didn’t know the area we’d have walked out. No restaurant so had to find somewhere to eat. Sorry but never again! We kept shoes on as the carpet was so bad.

Very old Home centered in the middle of a new community, but it has a big park across the street

Most things. Unfortunately needs a lot of attention as room was below standard for the price. Bed was clean and comfortable which was good. Fixtures and fittings need repairing or replacing which was a terrible shame as the place was very quaint and interesting

We were looking for a cheap but comfortable stay on the outskirts of Bristol - this venue ticket all boxes (we don't like clinical hotels, this is more homely and more spacious)

The host greeted us as we arrived outside, helped us with our luggage. Breakfast couldn’t have been better. Location was straightforward to find albeit a gem in the middle of a housing estate. We would highly recommend and will be staying again. Also restaurant is amazing at a very reasonable price.
