Nothing - this is the worst hotel experience I've had in 25 years of travelling the Uk every week

Staff were aggressive, confrontational and unhelpful. Late at night, left me feeling anxious, and pushed into a corner. The sheets in the room had not been changed - dirty, hairs, marks, and smelly. I considered not saying anything as was scared of the reception guys reaction. I asked for a change and no other set available and no other room apparently. I was right to have been scared - the receptionist was suitably incredulous, obnoxious and unhelpful. After I'd exhausted all thoughts of solutions , i gave up and left distinctly off kilter and wobbly. From 11.30 to 3.30 I was constantly itchy in the bed and ended up with small red bite marks. Bright light shone into the room from an internal light source, the blind didn't stop the light. A door banged constantly all night outside the room as all the truckers use the shower block opposite this room. Have video and photo evidence of all of this. Didn't sleep for more than 1 hr in total and not more than 10 mins at a stretch. Checked out at 4 am, and slept in a layby for 30 mins. Exhausting day to follow. Wrote a complaint to hotel, They've chosen to blacklist me - not sure if this is necessary as not the feeling is mutual, I'd highly recommend finding other places to stay.

Very good food. Safe parking. Comfortable room.
