Alistair lodge

Hospitality was exceptional. Alistair picked us up at the train station simply out of kindness and caring and we had lovely conversations. He offered us a microdinner and also breakfast was included, provided great directions to the town centre and was an aal around a great host. The place was in a great neighbourhood, very good location, walking distance to the train station and town centre. The bed was the bedroom was nice the bed very comfortable. Everything about the stay was easy and pleasant. We will come again, if ever we will be traveling to the area.

I could not stay in the place, the floor is dirty, the apartment is too small for double room. there is no clean environment, the duvet of the bed very old. There was no table and as soon as i asked for chair and table, a very haggard looking table was brought out for my son to use. I could to look at the bed two times, very bad. There was no where to keep my suitcases. His wardrobe was full of his stuffs. However, I did not sleep there, i left that same night to get an emergency hotel to stay for the 5 nights, it was a nightmere for my son and I. Very bad experience. I need my refund and I am taking the issue to court if Booking.com did not refund my money. I do not know the owner of the property, it is booking .com I had business with. I must get my refund. They should go and investigate the place and see the rubbish place. Please refund my money.

The premises was disgusting. The room was dirty. Had torn wall paper. The bedding was torn.
