Bayview Country Inn El Nido

The staff are always very attentive and friendly. On our last day, we had to travel quite early and the staff has prepared our breakfast for that day in a nice "to-go" box. They also helped us with the booking of the tours.

The room we were assigned was nice and comfortable, the only issue is the noise. It has a terrace overlooking a beautiful view but is also in front of the "high-way". The most used transport of this area are the "tricycles" a.k.a. tuktuk, as it is called in other countries. You can clearly hear all the tricycles and trucks that passes by.

The toilet and plumbing was slow and smelly. The stove did not work so was not able to cook of needed to.

A nice and clean family-run hotel. Excellent breakfast (a selection of local and international dishes), a well-equipped room, comfortable beds, good air conditioning, a private bathroom — everything was in order, functional, and in good condition. The room had a small terrace. Friendly staff, good value. We arrived very late at night, and it was no problem to arrange such a late check-in and handle the formalities the next day.

Unfortunately, there were two minor drawbacks. 1/ A large family of Asian tourists was staying at the same hotel, and they were making noise late at night, running and talking loudly in the hallways, constantly walking back and forth, slamming doors — even after we asked them to be quiet because we were tired and had to get up early in the morning—and none of the staff did anything about it. 2) Internet connection: Signal coverage in El Nido is extremely poor; you have a signal, but move 100 meters and you’re out of signal, and so on. The hotel has its own Wi-Fi, but it goes down the vast majority of the time. You may be connected to the Wi-Fi, but it isn’t connected to the internet for hours on end, and when it does connect, it’s slow and has massive outages.

*Need a serious improvement at the menu . We had lunch upon our arrival , and it was really no good . Half of us didn’t ate at all , the refreshments that served us where no cold * our room didn’t have fridge , and even the hotels fridge didn’t work , so that was really annoying , during summer with no cold water .

Good value and host everything was clean and as pictures / good emplacement
