Lovely owner, very kind and friendly

Warm welcome. Friendly host who made a lovely cup of tea on arrival. Super cooked breakfast. Close to University on bus route to City centre and train station.

Garden overgrown. Lots of house plants and spices.

The owner was friendly and welcoming. Hotel is a bit quirky, but not in a particularly bad way.

Staff was very caring helpful and approachable.

The shower stand needed repair. The room could be more clean around the corners.

The breakfast was greasy, the mushrooms were cooked with onions which was not nice and contaminated the rest of the food particularly the eggs. The fact there was only a shared WC not one in the room. Information on places to get an evening meal. Decoration of the ground floor poor and still several fixtures of its previous use I.e. Chinese takeaway restaurant.

Easy to find and park and nice area.

Good location, only a short walk away from the uni grounds where we we seeing a couple of bands and ample free parking just outside. Also great value for money.

The room was quite small, as is the toilet in the room. The beds weren't that comfortable for me but this depends on your preference. Overall great value for money and a perfect stop over or cheap place to stay for one or two nights
