Sinclair Inn Bed & Breakfast

Breakfast was delicious and satisfying. I had the homemade quiche, which I loved. The dining room was comfortable and well-located. Part of the reason for my visit was to paint the landscape located behind the Inn. When I saw there was no table located on the property that was within sight of the mountains, I asked the owner if there was a table he could provide. He very kindly set up his drafting table in a perfect spot behind the Inn. I was able to paint in a lovely setting, and the chickens even came out to greet me!

I'm a late riser--even on vacation! The breakfast buffet was open from 8-10 AM. I would've liked it if it had been open until 10:30 or 11. One (small) thing that bothered me was that only a handful of TV channels were viewable (I counted 5), but the listing of available channels on the flyer in the room was about 100! It took me a while to figure out there was nothing wrong with my TV but that the Inn's plan didn't include the majority of the channels listed--including CNN, NBC, ABC and other basic channels. After I figured out that most channels were unavailable, I watched TBS the whole time I was relaxing in my room in the evening. I would have preferred some variety or, at the very least, a truthful list of which channels were available, so I didn't have to scan channel by channel to find out which ones were working.

LOVED this place! The owner was warm and welcoming AND made a great breakfast. We loved visiting with others. One couple was from California, other from England, we are from Texas. The room was spacious, clean and we felt very safe there. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely stay here again. 10/10!!! Highly recommend!

The hosts (Kyle and family) are kind. Breakfast was fabulous. you are out of Stowe and Burlington but they are an easy drive. We appreciated the size and comfort of the property and extras-- cookies, drinks etc.

Gorgeous old mansion. Everything was superb. Great breakfast. Close to cool Vermont stuff and beautiful Vermont scenery. Best creamies in the state right down the road.

The moment we arrived we were greeted by the sweetest host! I gave this place a solid 5 stars BUT the only negative, per se, is that you’ll hear traffic from the busy street. Other than this one minor issue, it does not detract from the cleanliness and charm of this lovely B& B. The bed was comfy, the bathroom, albeit small, (this is an OLD house), was very clean and the host provided all the extras you may forget. There’s a snack room full of juices, coffee, teas and sodas, you just help yourself. You can store any food in the full-sized fridge. We loved the warm gingerbread-pumpkin cookies in the evening. Nice touch. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. I was a little surprised at the breakfast buffet! SOOOO delicious and all farm to table menu items and yummy yogurt & organic fruits. The quiche was exceptional and the homemade pumpkin chocolate chip muffins were spectacular, they even had local made English muffins— delish!! The dining area and common rooms were super nice, love love that they served the meal on vintage China and real cutlery, no yucky plastic stuff. I really cannot say enough good things about this place. We overheard another couple state they keep coming back and I can understand why! Yes, book here, you will love it! This is by far one of the best B&B’s we have ever stayed, if I didn’t live in CO I’d come back more often.

Beautiful house, comfortable room and bed. We had a very friendly greeting when we first arrived and shown all around the property.
