Villa Sterrebosch - boutique hotel - 1 suite - centrum Wijchen

Super tevreden over de locatie. Fijn en mooi verblijf.

The accomodation was frankly opulent, and the food at the Grand Café that accompanies the hotel was superb. Bath and shower, a cozy reading-and-drinking nook. Good stuff.

I think the water kettle needs to be decalcified, and it was somewhat disheartening to have candles but no lighter for them. The WiFi also didn't do much.

Location was perfect for restaurants & bars, & within walking distance of our friend who lives in Wijchen. We didn’t eat breakfast at the cafe, as our friend hosted us each morning.

Why not ask the guests if they actually want clean towels or bedding - I’m all for using towels for a few days, as it helps the environment - we didn’t need clean ones each day. We were there for 5 nights and didn’t really need clean bedding during that time.

A beautiful room. Spacious and complete. Nicely decorated too and very comfy beds. Because there’s only one guest room on the top floor, we got the front door key of the villa. The hostess Anneke was specially nice. When we didn’t feel well she let us use the kitchen to make a meal so we didn’t have to go out. Breakfast was delicious and complete. Thank you Sterrenbosch!

Maybe a microwave in the room to heat up something would be nice. The room is on the 2nd floor. No elevator. But the front desk was helpful with carrying luggage up.

The suite was comfortable and spacious. We loved the antique furniture and decor. The huge bath tub was a pleasant surprise :) Also it was very quiet despite the house being located in the city center. Breakfast was very good too.

The comfort of the room, friendliness of the staff, location.. it was all beyond our expectations. One of the best stays in the Netherlands. We’ll definitely be back again!
