Villa Sterrebosch - boutique hotel - 1 suite - centrum Wijchen

The location, the staff and the property itself were excellent !! It’s right in the center, close to many supermarkets and shops, next to the castle and it’s a really beautiful small town to walk and explore. The mini bar is included (you don’t pay extra for it) and the ladies from housekeeping are coming everyday at 11:30 to change the towels or refill your coffee section (they don’t quite speak english, but they are very nice and polite). The room is very cosy and nice, with a huge comfortable bed and you also have a very big bath. You have plenty of restaurants/fast foods options (i recommend “Asia” restaurant and the Ribs fast food - in both the food was excellent and also the staff, quick service). Everything was great! I’ll definetely come back in the future and recommend it to others as well !

The internet was not working at all and the shower was broken, but they plan to fix it, so probably, in the near future will be functional. You have a bath tube with a shower so it was ok !

Beautiful room at the 2nd floor of the house with antique lamps and a wonderful bathroom that has the atmosphere of one long ago but with today’s comforts such as plenty of hot water, a large walk-in shower and a separate toilet. The view over the castle is great too and the village center is on the doorstep with plenty of restaurants to choose from.

The property was set on an iconic setting! The view from the window was across from the window. Plenty of space inside to rest and spread out. I was there with my brother, but for a couple it would be an amazingly perfect stay. Beds were comfortable. Very easy to get to (short 10 minute walk) from Wijchen central station.

Lot of process to get in and out. Had to go across the street to get the keys when checking in. And then had to unlock the front door with a key and walk up 2 flights to get into the room (no elevator option).

Great place to spend one or two nights.
